Online Poker League Rules

  • League Players will have online poker play tracked and be ranked in each of five statistical categories. Categories tracked include: Ring Game Earnings, Shootout Prize Money, Tournament Prize Money, Final Table Appearances, and Frequency. The top 50 league Players of each of the five categories (except Final Table Appearances, which awards points to only top 10) will earn points. Click here for full explanation of how points are awarded. The Players with the most cumulative points will qualify for the Overall PlayerStandings leader board. This is the board we will reference to quantify the top overall Players of league.
  • OPL sessions are two weeks in length, starting on the 1st and 16th of each month at 12:01am and ending on the 14th and 29th of each month at midnight.
  • There will be a league participation fee of $25 per session. A portion of this money will be used to fund the prize pool for the league champions. Players may join OPL anytime during the session (must pay full fee regardless of what day joined). Only qualifying play after league fees have been paid will count towards OPL leader board qualifications.
  • Upon registration, poker Players will receive 3,000 play money chips. Replenishments will be made in lots of 500. In order to replenish, chip balance must be below 200.
  • OPL Players will play in ring games, shootouts, and tournaments alongside non-OPL Players. Only OPL Players, however, will qualify for ranking on leader boards, participation to Session Finals, and OPL prize monies.
  • Currently OPL is available for play money only. All poker tournaments and ring games qualify unless otherwise marked in tournament lobby.
  • All shootouts will be limit, no limit, or pot limit Texas Hold’em. Shootouts will be run continuously throughout day. Register for them, and whenever there are ten Players signed up, the shootout will start.
  • All tournaments will be limit, no limit, or pot limit Texas Hold’em. There will be about between six and twelve regular tournaments daily.
  • Players must be logged into internet cardroom ten minutes before scheduled tournament start time in order to be seated. Players that are not logged in will be removed from the tournament (to prevent no shows, etc).
  • At the end of the session, the top 50 OPL Players, as ranked by the Overall PlayerStandings, will qualify for Session Finals, to be held on the 15th and 30th of each month at 10 pm EST. The Players that make the final table of this tournament will be considered the top 10 OPL Players of the month and will each be awarded a cash prize and other prizes. Click here for full details.
  • Collusion, chip dumping, or any other form of cheating will not be tolerated. All reports will be investigated thoroughly by staff. Players who are found cheating will be banned from OPL.
  • In order to make support for OPL Players more efficient, support issues will be handled directly by Bikini Poker support and management. Any support question can be answered by either emailing support@onlinepokerleague.com or by calling their support line at 1-800-653-9774.
  • In the events of dispute, management decisions are final.
  • OPL policies, rules, prize pools, etc. are subject to change by management.
  • Tournaments can be canceled or rescheduled at manager’s discretion.
