How We Determine the OPL Session Champion
All league play during the session is focused on qualifying OPL Players for the Session Finals tournament at the conclusion of the session. The top 50 Players in Overall Players Standings will qualify for this championship tournament. We will reward the highest finishers for their effort throughout the month by giving them a starting chip advantage in the tournament. Here are the starting chip balances for the 50 qualifying Players:
1st –5th place- 1,000 chips
6th –10th place- 950 chips
11th -20th place- 900 chips
21st -30th place- 850 chips
31st - 40th place- 800 chips
41st -50th place- 750 chips
“Place” refers to where Players finished in Overall PlayerStandings at conclusion of session. As you can see, there is a definite advantage in finishing in the top five or top ten for the session. The entire final table of this tournament will be “in the money” and qualify for a cash prize for their accomplishments on the poker tables. The final tournament results will be considered the final ranking of Players for that particular OPL session. The final table Players will share in the prize pool accordingly.
